Options for Sustainable Archaeological Archives

Arts Council England and Historic England commissioned this report as part of a project looking into the long-term storage and curation of archaeological archives in England.

The overarching aim of the work has been to understand how the museum and archaeological sector can be best supported to manage and maintain archaeological archives.

The purpose of the document is to highlight the study’s results, providing an outline of the challenges and suggesting recommendations to help address them.
