Hollie Smith-Charles

Hollie is Director, Creative Health and Change at Arts Council England and has nearly 20 years worth of experience in the arts and museums sector. She began her career Cheltenham Festivals, where she assisted the Jazz and Classical Music Festival teams, before moving into event management, programming and then onto fundraising. Hollie has also had roles with Birmingham Museums, Create Gloucestershire, and Gloucester Culture Trust, which fostered her interest in the potential of the arts to tackle social inequalities, support wellbeing and enable communities to thrive. In a freelance capacity, Hollie has developed place-based cultural strategies in Worcester and East Devon in collaboration with local authorities.
