Energy Efficiency

Energy Efficiency

We’re helping the art and culture sector become more sustainable, a goal which is at the heart of our 10-year vision.

The Government Procurement Service can help art and culture organisations pay less for and become more energy efficient.

The service can also help users access a number of schemes which can reduce energy consumption.

The Government Procurement Service is a transparent, not for profit service responsible for delivering efficiency savings to the public sector.

Dedicated customer teams and supplier managers purchase gas and electricity directly from the wholesale energy market to make savings for the public sector.

The service spends £1.4 billion on energy with more than 1,400 customers making it the largest aggregated energy buyer in the UK.
