Cllr John Fort
Cllr John Fort has responsibility for the arts within North Yorkshire County Council as Executive Member for Communities. He has also served as a police officer in West and North Yorkshire. John has a particular interest in the creative industries, festivals and events, and in North Yorkshire’s two county priorities of arts in education and voluntary arts. He also has a personal interest in arts development in rural areas.
