Doug Sandle
Doug Sandle BA., C. Psychol., AFBPsS. is a chartered psychologist and retired in 2007 as Reader in Visual Studies at Leeds Metropolitan University. He is now an independent researcher and occasional consultant. With a specialist teaching interest in visual perception and the psychology of art and design he worked for many years in Higher Education with art, design and architecture students. His many research publications and conference contributions in visual culture extend to art therapy, contemporary art practice, public art, tourist photography, and also to the relationship between art and sport.
