Neil Maybury
Neil Maybury was born in Birmingham and educated at King Edward's School, Birmingham and the University of Birmingham. After qualifying as a Solicitor in London with Clifford-Turner (now Clifford Chance), he remained in London for some years before returning to Birmingham as a partner with Pinsent & Co where he remained for some twenty years. Neil is a patron of the CBSO and the Birmingham Royal Ballet, and a former chairman of the Birmingham Rep Development Committee. He is currently Chairman of Birmingham Business Focus, chairman of the Spitfire Museum, chairman of the Hood Down Club and leads the Tennis Museum Project. He lives in Shropshire and Birmingham, is a pilot, and his interests include his four children, gardening,tennis, opera and classic cars.
