Cllr Stuart Wheeler
Stuart Wheeler was elected to the old Kennet District Council in 2007 and served as Chairman of the Planning Policy Committee. He was elected to the new Wiltshire Council in 2009 and currently sits on cabinet holding the Campus Development and Culture portfolio.
Stuart qualified as a solicitor in 1975 and in the course of his career has lived in the USA and Australia. He came to live in Wiltshire in 1991 when he was appointed head lawyer of National Power, headquarters in Swindon.
