Julien trained at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and has spent over 20 years in subsidised and commercial theatre.
The current Director at the Hall for Cornwall in Truro, he has previously been the Chief Executive of Theatre Royal Brighton and Churchill Theatre Bromley. He was part of the management team at Ambassador Theatre Group for 9 years and previously the Managing Director of Victor Mara.
Julien has a passion for working with independent theatre companies and is a board member for English Touring Theatre, Spymonkey and the Dance Touring Partnership.
Previously on the South East Regional Council Julien is looking forward to maintaining and growing strong working relationships in the South West and championing independent theatre.
