Cllr Antonia Noble
Antonia Noble graduated from University of London and was called to the bar in 1995. Antonia was subsequently employed at the Criminal Cases Review Commission where she investigated suspected miscarriages of justice.
Antonia was elected to Gloucestershire County Council in 2007 and was appointed to the GCC cabinet in 2008 and has since then been the cabinet member responsible for adults with learning disabilities, adults with mental health issues, safeguarding, community cohesion, libraries, archives, information in addition to sports arts and culture. She also chairs the council's constitution committee and is a board representative at the Everyman Theatre, as well as being a school governor and sitting on various local committees.
She is both a passionate and vociferous supporter of all aspects of the arts. Antonia is not only interested in art for the sake of itself and our civilization but also the therapeutic and social benefits which can be derived from them which are now, rightly, being recognised in many areas of the public and private sectors.
