Mike Jones
Mike has worked in the cultural sector for 23 years in roles as diverse as being part of a stand up comedy duo and managing the £10M+ redevelopment of Glasgow’s Centre For Contemporary Arts (CCA). A degree in Modern History & Politics led to Mike developing a number of arts projects for the trade union movement in Liverpool and – via a postgraduate course in Arts Administration at London’s City University - to three years spent organising cultural and campaigning events for the Scottish TUC. During this time Mike also produced small/mid scale theatre tours for a company he co-founded, before working with Glasgow based Clyde Unity Theatre (1993-95). After working as Administrator/Programmer at Paisley Arts Centre (1995-98), Mike moved to CCA where he was responsible for financial, administrative and operational management. Mike has worked at the Brewery since September 2002.
