Fiona Gasper MBE
Fiona is currently Executive Director for the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester. Recent previous roles have included Executive Producer of Liverpool's 2008 European Capital of Culture programme (2004-2009) and Executive Producer for Contact, Manchester's theatre for young people.
Fiona has worked in the cultural sector in the UK for the past 25 years in a range of full time roles, and as a freelance consultant. The organisations that she has been lucky enough to be involved with cover all artforms, scales and types. They include West Yorkshire Playhouse, the English National Opera, Youth Music, Manchester City Council, Liverpool Arts Regeneration Consortium (LARC), Royal Shakespeare Company, Walk the Plank, GMMAZ, More Music, Whalley Range All Stars, Community Arts North West (CAN) and Nottingham Playhouse.
Fiona is a board member for xtrax and Contact and was awarded an MBE for services to the arts in June 2009.
