Cinzia Hardy
Cinzia started her career in the arts as an actor and dancer and moved into theatre production in 1991, setting up her own company European Players in London. Since then she has worked for the London International Festival of Theatre (LIFT) and moved to the North East in 1998 to manage the Year of the Artist programme for Northern Arts (1999 – 2001). Following several Journal Culture awards and nominations for site-specific performances she produced in the North East (e.g. The Novocastrian Philosophers' Club and We Got Mittens Too! at the Lit & Phil in Newcastle) Cinzia has now re-established European Players as Northumberland based November Club, and as its creative producer brings together artists from a range of practices with professional performers to work with communities to produce unique theatre both indoors and outdoors, in unusual places.
