Robert Dufton

Robert Dufton is the Director of the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, one of the largest independent grant-making foundations in the UK. The foundation operates across the arts and education sectors and is committed to social justice for disadvantaged young people. It also runs a programme in India.

Previously, Robert was Director of The Rayne Foundation, Deputy Director of Operations at the Heritage Lottery Fund, Programme Director at Arts & Business and Senior Policy and Research Officer at the Arts Council of Great Britain. He is currently a Governor of the Museum of London and Chairman of the London branch of University of Bristol Alumni Association where he was, until recently, a member of the University's Council.

Robert studied law at the University of Bristol and qualified and worked as a solicitor in the City of London and New York.  He has a Diploma in General Management from Cass Business School, City University.
