David Hall

David Hall is currently the CEO of Foyle Foundation and also manages the foundation's investment and property endowment. He started at the organisation as Chief Executive, with a brief to develop a forward thinking 21st century grant-making foundation.

David entered the cultural sector 18 years ago as Deputy Director of Business in the Arts, a national programme run by the Association for Business Sponsorship of the Arts (ABSA) which later became Arts & Business. Prior to this, he had worked in general management and marketing.

David was also a lead consultant at international cultural consultancy Adrian Ellis Associates - where he specialised in strategic development, business planning and capital project planning - and has assessed major capital schemes for the Arts Councils of England and Scotland and Heritage Lottery Fund. 

He is also a member of the Development Council of the National Theatre, as well as the theatre's Planning and Strategy Group and the NT Future capital project committee. He is a board member of Money, Mission, Models and sits on the Engagement, Education and Access Committee at the Royal Opera House.
