The arts investment committee makes operational and investment decisions that are in keeping with the policies and framework of the Arts Council. It decides financial strategy and approves proposals for the delivery and implementation of long-term investment and resources strategy.
The arts investment committee proposes grants and disinvestments up to specified levels to national Council. The committee also approves the acquisition or disposal of premises, financial plans within the parameters laid down by national Council and the Lottery strategic plan.
The committee meets six times a year, or additionally as needed, and reports on its activity to national Council.
