Area Executive Director, North
Sarah Maxfield took up the position of Area Executive Director, North in March 2012 following two years as regional director for the Arts Council in the North West.
For four years prior to this she was chief executive of Oxford Inspires, Oxfordshire's cultural agency which promotes special events and festivals and supplies development services to arts organisations.
In a career which has combined senior posts in local government, the Arts Council and working within arts organisations, Sarah's previous experience includes being head of cultural development at Kent County Council and deputy chief executive of Southern Arts Board, as well as working as an independent arts planning and fundraising consultant.
