Donna Lynas has been Director of Wysing Arts Centre since 2005 and was instrumental in delivering Wysing's recently completed RIBA award winning capital development project which has transformed Wysing into a large informal campus with ten separate buildings set on an eleven acre rural site that includes artists' studios, a gallery, new media and educational facilities and accommodation, alongside a growing collection of semi-permanent outdoor sculpture. Donna has also developed Wysing's identity as a research and development centre for the visual arts. Previously, Donna was Curator at South London Gallery for six years (1999-2005) where she worked with artists including Christian Boltanski, Joelle Tuerlinkx, Keith Tyson on their solo exhibitions, as well curating a number of group exhibitions, and establishing the gallery's off-site and live art programmes. Before that she was Curator (1997-99) and Touring Exhibitions Organiser (1995-97) at Modern Art Oxford. She studied design at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee.
