Rosemary Squire OBE
Rosemary Squire OBE is co-founder and Joint CEO of the Ambassador Theatre Group Ltd (ATG) and is the most prominent woman in British theatre of the modern era. ATG is the world’s number one live-theatre company with 39 venues in Britain and on Broadway and is one of the world’s most prolific theatre producers. ATG is the market leader in theatre ticketing services through ATG Tickets, LOVETheatre and Group Line.
In 2014, Rosemary made history as the first woman to be named EY Entrepreneur of the Year and will now represent the UK at the World Entrepreneur Awards in Monaco in June 2015.
She is a National Member of the Arts Council England Board, a Trustee of The Hall for Cornwall and was chair of Great Ormond Street Hospital’s Theatres for Theatres Appeal raising over £5m. When democratically elected President of Society of London Theatre, she became the second only female President in the organisation’s history. She won the prestigious CBI Real Business First Women Award for Tourism & Leisure and was awarded an OBE for Services to Theatre. Rosemary is widely recognised in the industry and has topped The Stage 100 for six consecutive record-breaking years. She has topped the Evening Standard ‘Power 1000’ Theatre section and was placed at number 16 on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour Power List.
