www.cans.org.uk is a detailed summary of the laws of England, Wales and Scotland, published by Cans Legal Information. The original sources – Acts of Parliament and Statutory Instruments – are distilled for public consumption into separate topics, each covering a different aspect of the law. The language is simplified and links together the different laws which can apply in each situation, including where possible detail from other sources such as codes of practice or European directives. References are always given so that the user can go back to the original source if needed.

www.cans.org.uk is regularly updated to include new law as it is introduced and this new law is put into context with existing legislation to give the user a complete picture. 20 main areas of law are covered. A full list of the content can be seen at www.cans.org.uk
