This section contains information about our work around cultural property.
In addition to the information in this section, we operate a dedicated website, Cultural Property Advice, a guide to buying, selling and collecting art, antiques and antiquities. It is aimed at addressing the needs of the trade, including individual dealers and auction houses, private individuals and museums, archives and libraries.
WARNING: Please note that the Cultural Property Advice website is currently under review. Some of the content and the factsheets may be out of date and we are aware that some of the links are broken. Collections Trust has been commissioned to renew the website in order to improve its usability, sustainability and security of information. In order to progress the overall delivery of the project as swiftly and effectively as possible, it has become necessary to pause the uploading of the Museum Spoliation Reports for a period whilst the existing information is migrated to the new platform. During this period Collections Trust is maintaining access to the existing website and the information it contains, but it will not be possible to edit the Spoliation Reports. The refreshed website is due to go live in September 2015.
