The Arts Marketing Association (AMA) is the professional development organisation for arts marketers and audience development professionals. AMA members are arts professionals with a passion for bringing arts and audiences together.
Around 2,000 arts professionals are members of the AMA for a range of training events and services to enhance their day-to-day work, progress their own personal professional development and open doors to networking with other like-minded people.
AMA members come from a wide range of backgrounds in the arts and cultural industries both nationally and internationally including:
- arts centres
- cinema, film and new media
- dance companies
- education and training
- freelancers and consultants
- funding bodies
- galleries and museums
- local authorities
- marketing and audience development agencies
- opera and music theatre
- theatre companies and venues
There are also members working within customer service, general management, and box offices, plus directors and heads of organisations, lecturers and curators.
