Practice-a-thon Music

1 Dec 2009

If you haven’t registered yet, then take a leaf out of Elaine Bennett’s book. Elaine and her husband run Mews Music in Stafford, and have joined forces with local musicians and schools, giving local Practice-a-thon groups the opportunity to perform live in their shop and get sponsored for it too!

Elaine said: “We had a great time doing our Practice-a-thon event in the shop, it’s great to get the kids in practising their instruments and raising money for a good cause at the same time! We’ve already got lots of our customers wanting to know when we’ll be holding our third one next year!”

Anyone can take part in 'Practice-a-thon Music with Take it away', no matter what instrument you play, or what your ability. You can join in on your own or with your band or group - the idea is simply to have fun making music, and to raise money for a good cause at the same time.
