Underage gigs

2 Nov 2009

Keeping music live for young people, UnderageGigs.com provides a free service for young fans who want to see their favourite bands play live, and for parents who want to know about the gigs their teenagers are going to.

The website is essentially a gig listing service especially for young people, with each listing showing any age restrictions. And even though the site has only been in existence for a very short time, it has already attracted lots of positive feedback through Twitter, Facebook and MySpace, as well as interest from teenage bands who love what it’s all about.

The founder of UnderageGigs.com, Piers Marais, decided to set up the website after trying to find tickets for his teenage sister, and finding there was no single resource to help.

Their website certainly gets our thumbs up.
