Take it away 'Retailer of the Year' award 2009
3 Aug 2009
Have you used Take it away to buy the instrument of your dreams? Did you experience great customer service in the shop you bought it from? Well now you can help us to select our Take it away Retailer of the Year 2009.
For the second year running, Take it away will be recognising the efforts of one of our participating retailers by awarding them with the Take it away ‘Retailer of the Year’ award.
We would love to hear from you if you think the shop you used deserves to be considered for this award. Did they help to demonstrate various models and give you all the information you needed to make the right choice about your instrument? Were they able to give you advice and guidance about local music groups or tuition in your area? Or did they generally just give an all-round exceptional level of customer service to you?
To nominate a retailer for the award, please explain in no more than 100 words why you think they should win, including any appropriate examples of your experience visiting their shop. Please also remember to give us the name and address of the shop so we know which one you’re nominating.
The winning retailer will be presented with the award at the Music Industries Association Music Awards on Wednesday 7 October 2009, and will feature in a future issue of the Take it away e-bulletin.
Nominations must be received by Friday 21 August 2009 by email to takeitaway@artscouncil.org.uk referencing ‘Retailer of the Year Award’ in the subject heading. Or alternatively you can send in a nomination by post to Take it away, Arts Council England, 14 Great Peter Street, London, SW1P 3NQ
