Ever wondered what inspires someone to start playing an instrument? Or why they fell in love with their instrument in the first place? It's sometimes hard to imagine that even the most experienced musicians started out by playing the simplest tunes on the recorder, but they did!
You can watch a series of short films on the Take it away website, with the likes of Natty, Stephen Adams, Tony Kofi and Arun Ghosh ruminating on their influences and inspirations, their first instruments, and what drives them to play.
