SW Guitar Show and Music Live!
This month saw the second ever South West Guitar show, organised by Take it away retailer, Sounds of Frome. Take it away was there with it’s stand, on hand to give any information about the scheme, and saw first hand just what a successful event this has become.

The Cheese and Grain building in Frome was packed out all day long with guitar enthusiasts of all ages. Not surprising, as they were able to see and try out electric and acoustic guitars from all the major manufacturers, as well as watch performances from the Marshall Band (among others), and demonstrations of the newest effects on the market.

Kim Hyde, organiser of the South West Guitar Show, is pleased with how the event went, and says: ‘We wanted to create a guitar show for the South West of England that all the family could visit, so it was important to us to have great performers as well as great brands exhibiting. I think we achieved this, and I see the show as a great success’.

For details of next year’s show, watch this space!

Take it away was at Music Live at the Birmingham NEC this weekend. Thanks to everybody who came to chat to us at the Take it away stand, we hope you had a fantastic time!
