Have you used Take it away? Or are you thinking of using Take it away? We’re looking for individuals to tell us about their experiences of using the scheme and playing their new instrument. See below for an idea of the types of stories we’re looking for.

Young people
Do you know someone aged between 5 and 18 who has been bought an instrument using Take it away and is now learning to play for the first time? Maybe they have now joined the school band or orchestra? Perhaps you have seen a difference in their learning and social skills at school? Whatever your story, please do let us know.

Over 50s
Have you used Take it away to help you pick up an instrument again that you used to play years ago? Perhaps you wanted a new hobby and you now have the time to learn an instrument for the first time? Either way, we would love to hear from you.

Families
Are you part of a musical family or do you know a family that has used Take it away to buy an instrument/s and are now inspiring each other to learn? Maybe one member of the family has always played and encouraged another to start playing? Any family you know that has benefited from the scheme, please get in touch.

Or perhaps you have a different story
Is upgrading your instrument and equipment posing a financial challenge? Or has Take it away given you the opportunity to buy an instrument for the first time? Perhaps you haven't even purchased an instrument yet but the scheme has got you thinking about it? If the Take it away initiative has, or will, make it more accessible for you to buy an instrument, please let us know.
