Mindtools

Mindtools is a website providing management, leadership & career training and a range of tools and resources on a number of management subjects. Access to many of these requires a subscription of US$1 per month. However, many articles are available free online. An eBook containing all its online tools is available for download for around US$20.

National Council for Voluntary Organisations

The National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) is an organisation which "gives voice and support to civil society" by supporting the voluntary and community sectors with advice and information.

The Institute of Risk Management

The Institute of Risk Management is the national body for education, training and knowledge about risk management.

  • The IRM offers a freely downloadable 17-page publication called A Risk Management Standard, giving advice on recognising, assessing, reporting and treating risk within all types of organisation, including not-for-profit and charitable organisations.
