Lawrence Batley Theatre

Lawrence Batley Theatre, Huddersfield is a middle-scale performing arts venue programming a range of work including amateur performance. It supports a range of community arts projects and has three companies resident in the building. It is also one of the venues for the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival. Our funding supports its core activities.

Funding awards

Lawrence Batley Theatre will receive £120,303 in 2008/2009, £120,303 in 2009/2010, £119,701 in 2010/2011 and £111,442 in 2011/2012.

As a national portfolio organisation, Lawrence Batley Theatre has been offered £150,000 in 2012/2013, £157,500 in 2013/2014 and £155,000 in 2014/2015. This is subject to a funding agreement being agreed.
