Arts Council England, South East

Welcome to South East

Welcome to the Arts Council England south east, the region stretches from Kent in the east to Hampshire in the west; it includes the Isle of Wight and reaches up to the northern borders of Oxfordshire and Milton Keynes. It is a thriving cultural landscape and is second only to London in terms of both the financial turnover and the number of jobs the creative industries support. At the heart of the creative industries are artists; our commitment to supporting artists to create and develop new work and new audiences underpins everything we do.

Grants for the arts
Grants for the arts awards are for individuals, arts organisations and other people who use the arts in their work. They are for arts-related activities that benefit people in England or that help artists and arts organisations in England to carry out their work.

Grants for the arts awards can range from £1,000 to £100,000 and are funded through the National Lottery. They offer individuals and organisations new opportunities to expand their artistic activities and can also fund national tours, enabling them to reach new audiences.
