The impact of Artsmark on schools in England is a research report carried out by Matthews Millman to see whether the Artsmark scheme has raised the profile of arts education and increased the range of arts provision in schools applying for an award. It determines the impact of the application process on the quantity, range and type of arts provision that is offered in Artsmark schools as well as perceived changes in ethos within these schools and their wider communities. The report also looks at the perception and profile of the award amongst local education authority advisers and the effects on schools that do not achieve an award.
