The Igniting Ambition Festival 2010 celebrates festival activity across the three counties and cities of Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire in a diverse programme encompassing visual art, dance, theatre, music, outdoor arts and spoken word. The festival is one of the region's major contribution to the UK Cultural Olympiad. It is the third annual festival in a five year programme that will culminate in 2012 with a region-wide festival of cultural events, inspired by the hosting of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
