In March 2002 we published the Strategy and report on circus. Four years on, the Circus healthcheck publication summarises the health of the sector and explores the issues affecting circus arts in England. Later this year, we plan to publish a strategy for circus responding to the issues raised in this paper, drawn from informal consultation with artists, promoters, producers and Arts Council officers throughout 2005/06.
