Date:17 February 2005
Artform:All
Subject:Research
Region:National

This report presents the findings of a study of attendance, participation and attitudes to the arts in England. The study, which is the fourth in a series commissioned by Arts Council England, was carried out by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) between September 2003 and January 2004. The full report is also available in Word on request, though is not listed here because it contains such a large number of files. Engagement in the arts presents some highlights of this research in a short document and is available to download opposite. Please note that more up-to-date arts attendance and participation figures from the Taking Part survey of arts engagement are available. Find out more, and view figures from Taking Part
