Tell us about your project

We want to hear about how National Lottery Project Grants has helped your project and we’d love to share the good news on our website and with our social media followers.

Tell the media!

Tell the media!

If you’re sharing a news story on your website, or maybe sending a press release, it would be brilliant if you could weave the following messaging into your copy.

“This was only made possible thanks to public funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England”

The best thing you can do is include a mention of us and the National Lottery in any quotes you add (as these get picked up by the media the most!).

Sample press release

Need some help putting together a press release about your activity? Download our sample press release to use as a guide and adapt to your needs.

Quotes

If you would like a quote from an Arts Council spokesperson for your press release, please contact one of our friendly Advocacy and Communications Officers to let them know your deadline. You can find their contact details here.

For more tips on communicating your story to the media and a template press release, take a look at our advocacy toolkit.

Advocacy

Advocacy

Find your MP and let them know of your success and the great work that is taking place in their constituency – stories that demonstrate how culture and creativity make a difference to local communities, National Lottery players and taxpayers are particularly impactful. We have useful online resources and guidance, such as our Advocacy Toolkit, to help you make the case for publicly funded art and culture!
