Running from the 23-26 April and now in its 14th year, the Glasgow Art Fair is the country's most prestigious contemporary art fair outside of London so whether you are serious collector, a casual buyer or just interested in contemporary art, this is the place to buy, sell and view art in Scotland!

*Note: If you plan to make a purchase using Own Art, don't forget to bring 2 forms of identification with you - you will need a proof of signature (such as a credit/debit card or passport) and a proof of address (such as a driver's licence or utilities bill).

Pavilion at Glasgow Art Fair '09

As part of their engagement with the contemporary art scene, new Own Art gallery - Pavilion will be exhibiting at this year's Glasgow Art Fair. With a focus on emerging UK talent the Pavilion stand will present a unique opportunity for art collectors, enthusiasts and casual buyers to purchase high quality photographic prints. All prints are signed by the artist and are available in an edition of fifteen or less.

Pavilion's selected artists are: Peter Ainsworth, Tessa Bunney, Lydia Goldblatt, Tess Hurrell, Penny Klepuszewska, Andy Lock, Jo Longhurst, Kevin Newark, Marjolaine Ryley and Eva Stenram. Each artist has been carefully selected and represents the very best of contemporary photography in the UK today.

Selected works for the artists represented are held in national and internationally recognised collections including: Victoria and Albert Museum, UBS, Hiscox, Museum Folkwang and George Eastman House. They have also featured in festivals and exhibitions around the world including Les Rencontres D'Arles, France and How we are: Photographing Britain at Tate Britain, London.

Pavilion is a not-for profit organisation, all profit generated through print sales supports Pavilion's programme and the artists with whom they work.

Win a pair of tickets to the Private View with Pavilion

Pavilion is one of the latest English galleries to join the Own Art scheme and to celebrate it is offering subscribers of the Own Art Bulletin the opportunity to win a pair of tickets to the Private View of Glasgow Art Fair on 22 April 2009.

To be in with a chance of winning, simply email your name and address to ownart@artscouncil.org.uk quoting 'GAF' in the subject field by 17 April 2009. The lucky winners will be informed and sent the tickets in the post, first class to ensure you receive them before the event.
