Following its hugely successful debut last year, Buy Art Fair has announced its return for 2009 with a three-day weekend event from the 24th to 27th September at Urbis in Manchester.

With over 300 highly sought after artists, presented by over 75 carefully selected galleries, the Buy Art Fair one of the largest in the country. Amongst those confirmed to exhibit are Paul Stolper, BEARSPACE and The Smithfield Gallery alongside returning galleries Wendy J Levy Contemporary Art Ltd, LiKailin and Fiumano Fine Art.
A fresh and exciting addition for 2009 will be the first presentation of The Manchester Contemporary which is effectively a show within a show and takes up the third floor of Urbis.
A selected panel consisting of curators, collectors and gallerists have nominated 15 UK galleries who they believe play a key role in defining the contemporary art landscape both nationally and internationally. It is supported by Arts Council, England, Contemporary Art Society and Castlefield Gallery.
