Own Art scheme rules
Member retailers are required at all times to comply with the scheme rules in the operation of the Own Art scheme. Failure to do so may result in suspension or termination of membership.

Guidance on artist/gallery contracts
One of the requirements of Own Art membership is that galleries should have appropriate contracts or letters of agreement in place with the artists whose work they represent.

Complaints procedure for member galleries
As from 6 April 2007, all licensed credit brokers are now required to have in place a written complaints procedure relating to all credit sales, and to make customers aware of this at the point of sale. In order to assist our members in meeting this requirement, we have produced an outline template for use by Own Art galleries:
