Happy birthday art08 – five years old!

Returning for its fifth consecutive year, art08, Arts Council England North West’s annual awards ceremony in recognition of arts in the region will take place at Liverpool’s Novas Centre on the evening of Thursday 13 November 2008.

art08 grows on the strengths of previous years successes, focusing solely on an evening awards ceremony that promises to be a fantastic opportunity for arts professionals and organisations to join together and celebrate the best of the region’s most innovative established and up and coming artistic talent.

With live music, entertainment, celebrity MCs and guest speakers soon to be announced, art08 is the place to join together, network and celebrate the region’s artistic achievements.

Categories for nomination will be announced on Wednesday 13 August and judging by the quality of last year’s 150 nominations, interest is undoubtedly going to be high.

Pre launch interest in the event has already been high - with organisations expressing early interest for reserved tickets ahead of their release date.

The event is completely free to attend and open to any one from the private and public sector involved in the arts. Please email art08@artscouncil.org.uk to reserve tickets today.
