Grants for the arts awards are for individuals, arts organisations and other people who use the arts in their work. They are for arts-related activities that benefit people in England or that help artists and arts organisations in England to carry out their work. Grants for the arts awards now range from £1,000 to £30,000 for individuals and from £1,000 to £100,000 for organisations and are funded through the National Lottery. They offer individuals and organisations new opportunities to expand their artistic activities and can also fund national tours, enabling them to reach new audiences.
