Young curators evaluate The Wanderer at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery, Bradford

Young curators evaluate The Wanderer at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery, Bradford.

A conference bringing together key thinkers and influencers from across the cultural sector to explore youth engagement is taking place on 25 October 2012 at the Museum of London.

As part of the Cultural Olympiad, Arts Council England's Stories of the world programme transformed the opportunities open to young participants and also challenged museums to make lasting changes to how they operate - embedding young people at the heart of their decision-making.

The conference will draw on learning from Stories of the world and its application to the wider cultural sector to extend the inspirational legacy of London 2012 and shape future delivery and engagement.

The day will contain a lively mix of films, performance, discussion and debate, tweeting and speed networking opportunities allowing delegates to share mini case studies and experiences of youth participation.
