Artist Alex Hartley and his project 'nowhereisland' has been announced as the winner of the £500,000 award for Artists taking the lead in the south west.
His project will tour a small artic island around the ports and harbours of the south west .
Artists taking the lead is one of the major pojects for the Cultural Olympiad.
