Stonehenge will be lit by fire as part of the London 2012 Festival.

Fire Garden is a spectacular site-specific installation of fire and music that will light up Stonehenge after dusk.

Fire Garden is created by French outdoor fire alchemists Compagnie Carabosse and presented by Salisbury International Arts Festival.

It transforms Stonehenge into a glowing fairy-tale environment where fire sculptures dance in the landscape, flaming fire pots animate the stones and cascades of candles line the pathways. Visitors pass between concentric circles of flames and huge fire balls that mark the sacred site's calendar positions.

Compagnie Carabosse stage striking installations across the world, and each event is created specially for its location. Fire Garden at Stonehenge is as opportunity to witness a remarkable moment in the historic Wiltshire landscape.

Fire Garden will takes place over three consecutive evenings from Tuesday 10 July through to Thursday 12 July 2012, from 9pm until midnight, with last admission at 11.30pm. Audiences of all ages can experience the Fire Garden.

Tickets are priced at £3.00 for adults with U16s free but ticketed. Tickets are available from Ticket South.
