Now in its third year, the Royal Opera House Links programme aims to help small and medium-sized opera, orchestra, and dance companies further their cultural impact and build their sustainability. Successful applicants are given a partner from the Royal Opera House Executive Team who will work with the organisation for up to two years. The Royal Opera House partner can offer companies guidance and support in many ways, including: 1:1 meetings; shadowing opportunities; site visits and conference calls.
The Royal Opera House plays a leading role in skills-sharing initiatives in the arts. Previous projects include the establishment of the National Skills Academy for Creative and Cultural Skills. Links follows a history of the Royal Opera House sharing skills and best practice with other organisations through their Associate programmes, and through participation in industry bodies and arts consortia.
Who can apply?
Royal Opera House Links is open to Arts Council England's National portfolio organisations. Organisations interested in the scheme should submit their completed application by email to firstname.lastname@example.org by 12 noon on Friday 24 January 2014.
