Olympic Flame welcomed to Hackney by arts festival

Tomorrow, Shoreditch Festival will welcome the Olympic Flame to Hackney on its first day in the host boroughs.

The Olympic Flame will arrive in Hackney's Kingsland Road at 4pm during the 11th Shoreditch Festival, which culminates this weekend in a programme of free arts presented by Shoreditch Trust and the Barbican including live music from Los Chinches and East London Creative Jazz Orchestra.

Shoreditch Festival, which runs 14-22 July, is part of the One Hackney Festival 2012, a borough-wide event taking place on 21 July to welcome the Olympic Torch to London.
