Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo returns to Birmingham following last sell-out visit

Dance Consortium welcome Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo back to the Birmingham Hippodrome for three shows on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 February 2013 as part of a 4.5 week UK Tour.

The all-male divas of Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo return to the UK following their last sell-out visit. Winners of the Critics’ Circle National Dance Awards and the TMA Theatre Award, The Trocks’ combination of pure comedy, extraordinary technical prowess and genuine love of ballet has made them a global phenomenon since they formed in New York in 1974.

Dance Consortium is a group of 19 large theatres located across the UK, formed in 2000 which works together to find dance companies and productions that will excite, challenge, entertain and inspire their audiences. Previous tours include Cirque Eloize (2011) and Batsheva Ensemble (2012) which make up 30 tours by 20 different companies across the world, attracting hundreds of thousands of people across the UK to experience performances and education activities.
