How to Engage in Future Jobs Fund

  • Date: 2 November 2009
  • Area: Midlands

Gecko Programmes and Arts Council England, East Midlands, invite you to:

How to Engage in Future Jobs Fund on Monday 23 November 2009, 10:30-12.30 at Arts Council England, East Midlands office.

This event has been developed so arts organisations can explore how they can best engage with the Future Jobs Fund; to find the best fit - from being a direct Department Work and Pensions (DWP) contractor, to being a host to an employee on a payroll.

The event is being facilitated by Pat Cross from Gecko Programmes. Gecko Programmes are part of a national consortium, and are focused upon creating jobs in the Midlands that are with the creative, cultural, heritage, digital media industries.

Visit Gecko's webpage to find out more about Future Jobs. This also links through to the DWP site, which will give you the policy and the boundaries.

Organisations invited are:

  • Arts Organisations in the East Midlands
  • Arts Council England, East Midlands Regularly Funded Organisations
  • Local Authority Heads of Arts and Culture
  • Local Authority Arts Development Officers

Places are limited so only one person per organisation can attend. You can book your place by contacting Louise Rainbow at louise.rainbow@artscouncil.org.uk or 0115 9897560.
