An exhibition by Staffordshire photographer Paul Horton which has been on tour around the West Midlands since April last year has reached its final destination.

His photographic installation - The Feet of the West Midlands - is now at The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery until 7 May.

Paul received an Arts Council England Grants for the arts Lottery award for his project.

The exhibition is based on a shoe-shop and has appeared at 10 venues from art galleries and libraries to community centres. Alongside the exhibition Paul also runs photography workshops in the community and has so far taught over 130 people the basics about digital photography.

The aim of the project is to encourage and empower the community to participate in art in a fun and interactive manner.

The project also includes a website www.feetwm.co.uk which invites viewers to take part and upload their own feet photos to the site. Currently there are over 650 shoe photos on display on the website.
