Arts Council England are proud to be a principal funder of the Cultural Olympiad and London 2012 Festival and have been closely involved in the development of the Cultural Olympiad from its early stages. Through our significant investment and support, we aim to bring the arts to new audiences; put British artists on an international stage, and to generate new partnerships and collaborations that will continue to benefit the whole cultural sector and audiences nationwide, long after the torch has passed to Rio.
