The Community Media Association is working with Arts Council England and Voluntary Arts Network to encourage arts and community media organisations to work together.

The CMA is a non-profit making organisation founded in 1983 to support community radio. Their remit has now expanded to now include community television and community-based Internet projects. The CMA represents the community media sector to Government, industry and regulatory bodies.

A series of one day events have been taking place across England to illustrate how arts and community media are working together, and inspiring future collaborations.

If you'd like to find out more about community radio in your area, Ofcom keep a list of community radio stations and the Community Media Association website has a section about its work in the arts.
